This place is SO GOOOOOD! Every time we come from Vegas we always have to stop here! It's a must stop with their delicious machetes and their amazing tacos al pastor! The staff is super friendly and welcoming! It's very clean as well and super family friendly!

Food is good , just didn't receive the salsa de Aceite I paid for obviously not gonna drive back for two salsas when I've already arrived home. They don't answer the phone which is disappointing. They didn't greet me when I walked in , but then again they are busy. It's a small place but cozy.

Faves so far: -Sope Tinga -Enchilladas Pollo Verde -Machete Queso y Jalepeno Sometimes there is a wait but not often. Usually at least a couple tables open. Service is always really nice and helpful. Pay at the cashier. They wont bug you to leave, so don't wait for the check.
I tried the chilaquiles and one of the burritos and also a machete on machete Monday . Food and service is always great . Prices and portions are also really good .

This place is definitely one of the many few Mexican restaurants that carry that home made taste! Everything taste fresh and hand made with love! I bought a Hurache and order a family favorite growing up - their sopa de fideo.
Love love love love the Huitlacoche chicharon and flor de calabasa machete taco. So difficult to find Huitlacoche in jar or canned even out here in the IE or anywhere really except Mexico? I'm pretty relentless when it comes to obsessing over HUITLACOCHE and will hopefully resort to growing my own?! or order online and splurge or hoping a friend traveling to bring me back some when in season from Mexico...the quest shall continue on....
